Hello all
Looking forward to bumping into a few of you out there in the wild open spaces. I am just a casual 4WD enthusiast - my family and I use 4WD weekends as a fun way to get out town and suck in some fresh air. Favourite off road areas are Bay of Plenty and Coromandel. We have two 4WDs - 1: a '92 Mercedes G Wagen SWB and 2: a '96 Nissan Safari Kingsroad LWB. Both are awesome vehicles...when the road comes to an end they will be buried with me.

Have kept the G Wagen straight - I just think that is the way it is supposed to be....it is amazing on sand dunes - my Safari simply can not do what it does...I think my Safari 4.2TD is more fun...it cost me a lot less & I tend to make it do things I would think twice with the G (for fear of creating costly damage).
