That link is broken for me.

I have a set of these.

http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTricks ... connectsV2

They work pretty well, $100US including shipping to NZ.

good point..

over the years ive done several test drives in surfs that ive owned (highway etc) and found that removing the front makes it handle really bad ,opposed to the rear and dosent help it flex much either ,cause they dont take much to top out anyway to hit even TRIMED bump stops.....and man those disconects rattle and are fiddly to work with .....and think of reconecting them after a good play in the mud...its bad enough airing down or adj youre ranchos...

hey its youre wallet but i only know from experience

good luck dude[/quote]

Krawlr's points are valid, you will get dirty refitting them but I have had to do a CV since I had them on and it's definitely quicker with a disconnect than without.

Having said that some people can do a CV without disconnecting the swaybar, I always have to.

I could not hit my trimmed bumpstops with sway bar on, I can with it removed. We are probably only talking about maybe 8mm extra, not a whole lot.

Krawlr your back, did the mermaids catch you fiddling the hubo or something and give you a HMPS holiday
8mm at the bump stop magnifies x 3 at the wheel, but the biggest thing is
the reduction in ground pressure from the low wheel as it is being pulled up by the high wheel, increasing cross axle.

Already spoken to him, he's not interested in making them for Surf's.

Only option is to source overseas or make them yourself.

There are two different sorts of IFS swaybars, one with a right angled joint and one with a verticle link.
