lol...I had some slim long sockets and extensions so gearbox end wasn't any hassle. I'm gonna be piffed if it leaks tomorrow but i'm pretty happy with the way the gasket went on with the sticky stuff as well.

Definitely a shyte of a job, nismo26 on here made up a drip tray for me which sits under the oil filters permanently so that got put on as well.

Cheers Ben

Gregorys manual says to use 'jointing compound' on both sides of the new gasket before fixing in place.

Thats thrown me...do I need that stuff and what is it pls??

I didn't use any jointing compound, just made sure both surfaces were 100% clean, scraped clean and brake cleaned, no leaks so far.
