Argh... :?

Those side vents in the front guards look like a copy from a range rover sport.

they have been out for well over a year in the northern hemisphere..... my understanding is 2 versions petrol V8 only, we probably wont see any here

talking to people that have driven them they say they are very capable etc etc but all that electronic whizz bang stuff (ah la Discovery) means we prob wont be turning them into comp trucks in 20 yrs time!! (maybe using those engines thou!!!)

i would assume like the D40 Navara being the up-spec model and the older D22 being the "poverty pack" that we may see a similar idea in the southern hemisphere..... new Y62 "top spec" and a Y61 (GU) a base spec....

Nissan lost out big-time when they stopped selling the 4.2DT ute here, i dont think they have much interest in the large SUV market....

ARB do a full range of accesories for them, should anyone be interested!! :)
i used to Cruise, now i PATROL

You would think with the amount of international Jeep JK sales, someone would make a contender. But no, another urban hatch back/truck. They got the right idea with the v8 though.

The good news is if I wanted one the Misses would probably say yes, as it would be great for taking the kids to soccer LOL
Latest mod, pin stripes, hit the same branch I did on the way in on the way out.

Would like to see the new shape and a previous shape on the same tracks at the same time, side by side (or one after the other) and compare them. Sure Solid axels over IRS /IFS but these spose to do very well from what I hear , In the sand dunes anyways.

Keep in mind, they were designed and tested for the Gulf / middle east, and they are doing pretty damn well there.
( Just like all previous Safaris/ Patrols and Landcruisers).

The styling of it took sometime for it to grown on me, but it has now .
A White one or black would be my first choice .
I would swap my GQ/Y60 for one anyday, but only because I could replace my old truck easily , and the v8 should drink less gas than my tb42 haha
