hi cash buyer looking for a tidy escudo or vitara suitable for a daily driver and off road as well would like a 1.6 manual 3dr could go as far as 4000$ thanks

Put where you are in your profile. 4k should open up a lot of options. theres a few on trademe. Last one I bought cost under 2k and that was off of noreservecars :lol: :lol:

when you go into your PM's on the left hand side of the screen it says profile
click on that and enter your location

thanks ill try that i picked up a pretty tidy 93 escudo 5dr today poor things been kept in a garage its whole life by the looks of it its still got mint paint on the roof and bonnet never been off road by the looks of it as well poor things in for a shock now 1st thing on the list is some extractors and tyres and suspension lift tried searching for top hat flip but nothing came up i gues you just turn it upside down and some how reattach it to the mounting point could someone point me to a thread about it please if there is one thanks Duncan :D

To flip the strut mounts, you need to punch out the captive bolts and either invert them or replace them with similar sized bolts (I think the best fit means drilling out the hole slightly). The unit still gets bolted to the underside of the chassis mount, but you need to add some washers to the bolts to pack them up to the level of the lip.

Not best practice in my opinion - I had some strut spacers made up for our Vitara.
