Slight off topic for 4wding but were all practical people, so you may have a use for it...

Aquired a few thousand metres of army green webbing from a factory that was closing down.

No idea what to do with it all (came with other stuff we were getting)

For ORE willing to talk deals / smaller quantities / almost give it away for exceptional ideas I can copy.

Would be good for making a cargo barrier etc, or maybe a roof net, or ???


Also have a bit of different black and blue stuff, it has more of a M or V pattern to it, where as these have more of a block pattern. Its still 25mm in width but feels a bit thinner.

Ummm... Thinking out loud...

Theres 100m in a roll, if the net is 2m wide and 2m high, thats 4m to do a vertical and a horizonal pass. 100/4=25, so a roll will do 25 passes.

Webbing is 2.5cm wide, and if you had a 7.5cm gap between each set of webbing, That should take 20 passes to do 2m, plus one at the end = 21.

Thats not allowing for any overlap in folding over the end, but a 100m should be sweet, if that makes sense?

Ok have sold a few now. The basic ORE price is $15 a roll, but open to offers for larger quantities/good ideas etc etc.

From what I can see..
One roll to South island is $8.90 NZ post.
One roll to North Island is $7.90 NZ post (upto 5kg)

Approx 2kg per roll, 38cm dia and 2.5cm thick.
All good if you want to send up courier tickets...

Sew it with an industrial sewing machine Often see this done with a "box and X" at the join.
