Love to know what pulling that, only looks like 2 usual electric motors on a custom winch, but it has way to much gfrunt and speed
Toy - Zuk chassis tub, hilux 4.88 axles and transfer, Nissan CA18DE motor and auto trans, sc12 supercharger, 32 10'5 simex, twin motor 8274 custom freespool. Well the parts are all there in various corners of the shed

I have always wondered if you could use something like the 12v to 24v switching system from the starting system of an 80 series and selectively choose when to run 24v through your 12v winch.

I like the cam belt linking the motors!!!!

Pretty common winch set up over here. Used to work with a guy who has a twin motor 24v high mount winch built by the same guy in his mwb patrol. They don't run 24v thru 12v motors. They run up to 4 motors thru custom made gear set up. They have a winch dedicated 24v alternator an separate batteries. They are very cool but cost more than 10k to set up

Friend of mine built a twin motor setup like that. Twin alternators twin batteries, think he had his setup 12v tho, one battery for each motor. So it could run like a 2spd, 1 or both motors going. It pulled bloody impressive up hills etc, but for recovery from mud etc it was so fast the plasma would just snap like a rubber band lol
