ok, to quell the rumours.

Bruce was advised at scrutineering that he did not have beadlocks listed on his cert plate or his cert paperwork. the law in NZ is that you may legally use beadlocks if certed.

now, bruce was made aware of the fact that he had no cert for the locks, and that he would be allowed to compete if he wished, taking the gamble that if a competitor was to protest he would lose.

this happened.

he lost.

lesson learnt.

from now on in NZ if the comp is run properly, vehicles will not even get past the scrutineering process.

the line is drawn.

the filming is currently being edited. it will take over a month to edit all 5 days of footage. it will then become a DVD and will also feature on Sky Sport and possibly Prime.

maybe we should do a mass email to prime asking if they will be showing it

suggest they put it on as a special during top gears usual time slot
