Ok so I need to know the name of the bar that bolts to the back of the rear axle to the body..

I need to get a adjustable one as my axle is 15 mm over to the drivers side after the new +2" springs were put in....

OR can you cut the factory item and make it adjustable? IE weld and fit adjuster

Panhard? if it is you can make a drop bracket or make it longer I cut mine in half and used a bigger bit of pipe over it, doesn't have to be adjustable.

Yea I thought is was called the pan hard rod but appco looked at me side ways...


So cut it and weld it? just make sure I get the right length first?

grab a manual, if i am not wrong ures is a WD21 isnt it? Then u will know exactly what it is, i will see if i can scan my haynes manual page and pt it on later

they are called panhards but ive heard people call them track bars and all sorts of funny names.

theres some good ones on 4wdbits.co.nz which are adjustable, great for if you lift/drop the vehicle etc.

but i think making the mount lower on the chassis would be alot better because it keeps the rod more parallel to the axle.

Rumour has it you can use a Toyota 80 series panhard in it's place...You may be able to source an adjustable and just change the bushes.

Would be worth looking into!

yes if you can.
commonly done in the surfs.

the more angle you have the more the axle gets pushed sideways when the suspension moves up/down.

That's a pretty serious looking bracket, as usual from Tom.
I did the usual bolt in drop box that goes inside on mine, with a brace to the other side...but yup, I was surprised how much difference it made.
