Damn, I hope that's the right word. I bought a bush truck early last year with a dual PTO take off but only use the front PTO. I did buy an Ali PTO for the rear but never fitted it and don't want to any more. What would this be worth? I hear they are quite rare and am thinking of selling it and replacing for a standard take off. I want to get a diff lock for the rear as well so am wondering on the used value of both if there would be option to trade with any one?
Any ideas please guys? No rush as I just have open hear surgery and am not allowed to "bounce" around for a two more months haha. This would keep me busy with light duty work till I can get out on the tracks again.
Cheers
Bernhard

Re: 40 Series dual PTO take off....
If its a pto with dual output flanges one facing forward and one facing rearwards I wouldnt think they would be worth much more if any more than a standard PTO, unless you set up some sort of clever clutch system you cant run two winches simultaniously
you can pull the standard PTOs apart and reverse the output shaft and flange to get them facing rearward for a rear winch
If its a 3 position PTO that you can run forward/reverse instead of engage/disengage then you've got something thats a bit more sought after but you'll find most people arent prepared to pay high prices for them, I've had 3 of them (still got 2
) and the most I ever paid was $350 for one of them

As thanks for the info. I was a bit misinformed about this type then. No probs, might still offer it and still just fit a standard type. Live and learn!
