Fuel tank ?

Garage talk. Anything from mounting a winch to water proofing the electrics.

Hi guys, been trolling for information regarding specs for fuel tanks etc..? LVVTA = cant find jack..
Does anyone have any info about design, compliance etc for my truck.. just thinking of stuff and it all hinges in this..
Any info would be great..

details are out there somewhere on the net mate,just got to keep searching.plastic needs to be of certain grade (found in specs),made from steel no less than 1.6 mm thick, aluminium no thinner than 2 mm,something along those lines anyway.hope that helps

ali = 1.6mm
stainless = 1.0mm
mild steel = 1.2mm but it has to be electro-galv/zintec. Welds also have to be sealed internally to prevent corrosion of the joints.
plastic = OEM, aftermarket or by someone approved by the TAC of LVVTA

Then there's more regarding location, mounting, leaks, overfilling, venting.....
