Needed ASAP D21 Brake Pad Shim/Christchurch!!!!!!

As title

Needed a steel shim that sits between the front brake calliper hanger and the front brake pads. Left hand side lower?

Im in Christchurch

Num is 027 209 1025

Wouldn't put number up normally but desperate for one as need 4wd for course tomorrow!!!!!!

Just run without it,a lot of people just throw them away.

Yep use the brakes once and they will sit right.

Yea left the the left hand side ones out now they squeal and they are brand new pads/disk :x

Are they single or double pot calipers? I might have some lying around but shipping will more than it may be worth. Have you tried around local to you?

Ussually vehicles are fine with out the shims, just chuck brake grease on the backing of the pad and it should be good as gold

Read the post again.......the spring clips are what he was after not the backing shims. The clips that go at the top and bottom of the pad and cushion the up and down movement....at least that is what I sent him. Seams to be sorted now :mrgreen:

Yep what you sent was what I needed, The pads were really loose with out them and would squeal when putting my foot on the brake
