Shorten TJ Front Bumper

Post by 00falcon »

Hi Guys,

Im looking to cut my stock front bumper down, to make it a bit shorter.

But i am just curious as to the WOF specs of a front bumper...
ie. does it need to cover the tires...? etc...?

Has anyone else done this mod...?

Examples (from the internet)

Im not sure on the legality side of it, but i just got a spare front bumper for mine the other day (good old $1 reserve on Trademe). I am going to shorten it to make it a stubby. I'm sure i've seen other TJs with stubby bumpers...

Still need to come around to yours and talk shit, soon maybe?

Here ya go, its not a stubby one, just cut at the ends. Might stop the corner from catching on shit?
