Nothing special.
Just a crate 350, mild cam, Scott nozzle, Cobra hull.
Good for a bit of fun.

Way more fun than my ocean going dingy.
But if I was living in Aucks or Welly I'd probably want to keep it. So many good spots to use it up there. But I won't miss it when it finally goes.
Anyone want to buy a good well kept 7m Haines Hunter?

Have you joined the club yet? Went on a club trip with my step-brother a while back. Good bunch of guys and they seem very active.

Myself and the kids meet a few dudes from that club up the Ashley the other week, in little 2 seaters with jet ski units. Long story short, one flipped, broken ribs, shoulder blade, vertibrae, helicopter, police, a rather eventful day to say the least. Great guys thou, who were well prepaired.

I can't see photo's, I'm at work... was a 2 seater, green topped, black hulled boat, 240hp seado jetski unit (from memory). We spoke of rollbars and helmets are required if you have one. Some just don't want to wear helmets. Also was told they get caught up in branches etc. I guess you can squeeze these little things into a lot of tight places

See! That's what age does to ya!
What you actually mean is "I would kill myself in one of those things, but it looks awesome" isn't it Pete?

(i hear you though, you become acutely aware of your mortality as the numbers go up  )

Yes, the beeping sound is the "vario", which indicates whether you are in lift or sink. The hissing sound is the oxygen delivery sytem which squirts you a shot everytime you breathe in. The annoying whistle is the air vent which always seems to adjust it's self to that position sometime in your flight. There were probably 5 or 6 other gliders soaring Cook at the time, as you can tell from the radio traffic.

Here is some more fun, stirring up the skiers on Mt Hutt :D
