Howsit,
Ive been looking at some early 90's model LAND ROVER DISCOVERYS lately,im pretty keen on gettin one just wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea of the fuel consumption id expect from either the 3.6 or 3.9 V8 as a daily driver.

My brother had one for a while, and when I borrowed it for a week the fuel consumption was pretty horrific.

It was about 20L/100km, or 5km/l. Thats about 50% round town and 50% motorway.

I'm running a 3.5 V8 model and the fuel consumption is terrible. Awesome offroad but I would't even think about using it for a daily driver.
