St James Working Bee 24th Nov 2012

Post by OVERSZ »

Join Us for a Working Bee to Maintain a section of the Edwards Valley 4WD Track in the St James Conservation Area

Meet at the St James Homestead (Rainbow Hydro Road) at 9.30am for a briefing and a brew)

Bring, a 4WD and a trailer (if you have one) Shovel, Rakes, a sense of fun and your lunch

We need non drivers too to help with unloading. (many hands make light work)

BBQ provided at the end of the day at the St James Homestead.

There is Camping at the St James Homestead Saturday Night. The homestead has basic cooking facilities and water. There might be a bunk or 2 but dont count on it.

Register your interest by emailing me graham@orarinursery.co.nz or waimakariri@doc.govt.nz

By Registering we can advise if because of the Weather the day is postponed.

You don't need a 4WD to be a part of this as seats will be available.

Email me if you would like a copy of the Flyer.

Cheers

Graham
President Combined 4WD Clubs.

Hi graham

Had a great time on the coast last weekend! i hear i missed the best day (sat)
Bugger ae always the way!

Im trying to juggle my weekend around to get up there sat I have been through the Edwards valley a few times now great country up there! Im keen to pitch in for the day!
I also have a trailer i could hookup to truck only issue is its a fairly new tandem not worried about access road etc but how is access through the Edwards valley track with a trailer? some sections are quiet tight/Steep!

Weather is looking good for sat hopefully how will we know about postponements ill be coming through from chch sat morn.

Cheers Rob

Ok sounds like a plan

Are you still needing trailers? i could bring either a tandem or a single axle? Which would be better suited?
