Don't ruin the fantasy for me :lol: :lol:
They are the same, but i like to think it is shorter. 3 doors are much prettier looking truck in my eyes.

Picked it up today. mint (for an old truck). WOF until Jan, brand new radiator and 14,200k's left in RUC 8)
Drives nice with only a slight whine from the gearbox in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. What a gutless wonder in standard tune.

T2 is still on the road and has stickers until Jan so i have a few tracks to do before then :twisted:

Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

I see, T2's front end is not breaking away from the body and is not raisened enough like T1, now I know good to have a stockpile of parts :D

Update time.
Add to the list of broken bits;

Left outer cv, shattered manual hub locking ring.
Had spares for both so an easy fix :mrgreen:
Image

Coming home from a beach run on Saturday, the clutch shuddered and disappeared under my foot when turning into my driveway.....so perfect timing.....kind of :!: :?: :!:

Glad I have got a body lift because there is just enough room to slide the gearbox back to gain access to the clutch release bearing.
This is what I found.

I think the rear main seal is a bit dodgy too :(

Spending a bit of time chasing components for T3 :P

high flowing manifold. If you could get hold of a bd30 engine its a direct injection more boost it should go close to 350-400hp

Nup, been trying hard though :twisted:
T3 still in planning process :roll: and acquiring parts :roll: :roll:
T2 is basically a trailer queen now :(
Not a straight panel in sight. I realized that apart from front diffs, i have done nothing to it......and i mean NOTHING! Not even oil changes since the preparations for the 24 hour enduro last Easter :o
Damage list lately,
Ripping trims off one by one on random trees, demolished the sills, and destroyed the door skin of the passengers door :oops:
T2 is now a guest at Possum Palace and now the clutch is a wee bit dodgy. Apparently power changing from 2nd to 3rd while stationary is that flash for for them :twisted: 8)
So here is some random pictures of the last few months;

Every two weeks on virgin tracks bashing them out.
Snapped winch rope, and pick up an average of 2 wrinkles per weekend. Love every second of it 8)

Ahh, it lives! Goes to show that brass bushing steering mod does the trick....

What I really want to see is a locked solid front axle and some 35-37s! Good stuff

And makers of the '92 Camry, where you got your first backseat handjob.
