lolz all over the place like a mad woman's shit.

good pic though. is the clocking caused by them rattling in their little case or something? there usually seems to be some clicking on most gopro vids

Not sure what the clicking noise is,trying to figure that out, might be the keys rattling and noise transfering?? Indicators we're very busy yea, lol. I have the LCD pack o the back which doesn't have holes. Drill will fix that!. Video is rediculously clear, i couldn't get over it!just have to sort the sound out and clean the bug splat off the window for he next one.

Its got to be the camera my truck does the same, when you drive it theres no rattles bangs or clunks but when you play the window cam back it sounds like the trucks about to shake itself to bits  :x

The mic on these cameras easily picks up mechanically transmitted noise. Like having your ear pressed to a surface and someone tapping on it.
Mount it up with something to isolate the vibrations and the clonking should go away.

I have the windscreen suction cup mount - works pretty well.

That's what i was thinking, but if i open the back up a bit all the mic will pick up is V8Awsumness

I havent progressed up to the GoPro yet I'm still on the free trial version I've got an old camera with a busted lens that wont zoom that I was going to throw out so I threw it on about a year ago for a bit of a trial and its still on there, the vids dont come up very good on photobucket but they burn onto dvds ok.... works good enough for a freebie Image

There is Audio comparison for the Audio for Hero 2 and Hero 3, now with the Hero 2 the audio quality will sound tinny when in the waterproof housing, as for the hero 3 the sound quality is much better even in the housing.

Just thought I mention this, also get the open back and the sound will be better, or try getting the microphone for it.

Cheers

my contourHD makes a noise kinda like that when not solid mounted or if the goggle mounts real loose
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhZFzvASLpg&feature=plcp
but that sounds like the mics bein maxed out maybe or a real small knock somewhere. you tried videoing with it just in your hand? maybe not through those roundabouts tho, the off camber on those could be a laugh one handed.

Cool vid wopass. Your 40 sits well on the road mate. Loving the V8 awesomeness sounds. :D

I'm guessing you got the GoPro 3? The white and silver versions of the 3 are out but they don't have an external jack for a mic. The GoPro Hero3 "Black edition" should be in stores next week. They do the external mic jack output not to mention 60fps in 1080p. The black edition also is better for recording in very low light conditions.
I have the Silver Hero3 but am on a waiting list for the Black edition.
I've got a HD Contour as well, one of the first ones. And in my opinion, the GoPro Hero, even the 3 (without using the external mic) sound is pretty crap. Like I said to skid. The Contour his misses just brought him, has the best sound quality of them all. But in my opinion the GoPro is the better package.

Looking forward to more vids man. i gave ya a thumbs up and subscribed to your channel. 8)
