wanted defender doors

any one wrecked a defender i'm after the doors for a conversion on my s2a,
i have to rebuild the jambs anyway
problems are only a problem if you not willing to learn how to find solutions

Have you heard anything from anyone about this? I could be interested in doing the same conversion depending on availablility of defender doors.

nah mate and even mamaku wouldn't sell me a set,
i will get some eventually, just a matter of time or importation
problems are only a problem if you not willing to learn how to find solutions

Why wouldn't they sell you the doors or was it couldn't because they didn't have any?

given how rare it is to find Defender doors that are not rusted out in the frames.
$300 a door is actually quite cheap .

have you priced up Factory replacements or the cost of importing frames / skins .

yeah have looked at dragging them back from the uk/us,
can get straight doors for $400 landed so bent ones for $300 is too much,
i'd rather drop that money into the gearbox and diff conversion.
problems are only a problem if you not willing to learn how to find solutions

If you can land brand new ones for $400 all inclusive, then I will have a couple.
There were a pair on Trade Me a little while ago for $950 each, brand new genuine. Last time I priced them in UK they were over GBP300 each.
