Project Wicked Jane

Post by luckyme »

G'day folks, looks like the big wheel spun up finally, and I can start changing Jane to a more decent form

She found me as a stock standard Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ on TradeMe, winking at me over a couple of re lists until I could not resist anymore.

First to go on was a 2" so called budget boost lift, very high tech  : 50mm polyurethane spacers for the coils. Anyway, needed these to be able to put 31s on - she came with 29s

Decent lift kit, tires and winch are on the way from overseas, custom rims are being made 8)

Finally on some 31s - not the easiest to find for 17" rims

Looking good. I like the V8, its surprisingly quick with the gearing. Oh, are the stickers backwards or photos are flipped on axle stands.

Awesome wagon, can't argue with that axle articulation. Can you chuck up some details of that lift.

Put new rim on to see if it fits over brakes. Might need some decent flares

Anyone knows some cheap sandblasting place on the shore? Gotta get them done before painting.
