Does anyone have a parts breakdown with diagrams for the Isuzu 4JB1-T engine, I am trying to work out a couple of things on mine.
1. Is what the butterfly set up that is vacume driven between the Exhaust manifold and front pipe flange.
I have tried to get a photo of it but it's well tucked away.
2. Whats what on the EGR system as I would like to get rid of the excess.
Cheers
Alex.

The butterfly in the exhaust is for the cold running setting, when you press the button on the right of the steering wheel (the one that looks like an engine with a coil in it) it closes the valve to increase the exhaust back pressure to heat the engine up faster.
For the EGR either just remove the vacum hoses and plug them up or remove the EGR valves off the inlet manifold and make up a blanking plate.

Cheers for the info Aaron.
Re the cold running butterfly, any ideas why its run of a vacume servo behind the pump via a cable?, complicated set up for what it is??.
I would still like to see a breakdown of the parts if any one has one.

What more do you need to know.
As an x parts rep for a few different franchises I like to be able to visualise all the bits before I go digging into things, would just like to see a breakdown of the engine if anyone has one.
I might just drop into old work in Blenheim when I am up there next and see if they have the cataloge on line yet ,or if they still have the old partrs books I used to use.
