FS/Swap:Low Km Mercedes 190E 2.0L Auckland

Post by Del Fuego »

Well I haven't had it long but as much as I'm digging driving it the lack of load space is driving me mad.

1990 mercedes 190E 2litre, 115kms legit, immaculate condition, just spent a bunch of cash on new dizzy cap, rotor, leads, plugs, tuning, new engine and g/box mounts etc etc. Still has factory First Aid Kit etc... all standard, radio is shit and could use a set of front pads and a wheel alignment.

currently using a bit more gas than it should be, trying to diagnose that at the moment and has the wrong fuel guage so empty(on the guage) = half tank(actual) but warning light still works lol. hoping to have both issues sorted shortly.

All legal as far as wof reg etc goes and should sail through another.

What do you have to trade? would prefer double/kingcab or similar ute or maybe an SUV type thing (prefer diesel but what ya got?) ideally something that doesn't suck a million of gas too, must have towbar... or I guess cash... looks like 4 and a half grandish according to tm so presumably around 4 in real life if anyone wants it :)

your fuel issues will probably have something to do with a vacuum line somewhere in the fuel injection system old skool bosch CIS
my 4wd is not a truck

old mercedes never die but sometimes they do need some love

older cars are good, mercedes are better, older mercedes are the best

Yeah, I suspect you are correct, I have a good mercedes mechanic fellow I just need to find some time to drop it in to him to check out (and swap the fuel gauge for the right style, he's trying to find one lol)
