Been a bit slack on my updates, been havin a bit to much fun thrashin my new Datsun at the club fun rallies over the last couple of weekends, finally got motivated to head back to the shed though............

Tacked some round bar in to the new panel to give a radiused edge and a bit more strength.............




Then capped over that..........


Got the new hydraulic tank and the modified fuel tank mounted up......


Started making a deck.......


Cut off the back bumper to move it forward..........

Nothing, just chucked the oilpump and torque convertor off the tb42 into it.
Just got it in behind a boat anchor Tb42.......... and i thought my hilux was hard on gas............

I think the ignition problem is that it's a Lexus. And it will be a little less Lexus when it's "fixed". But I'm just guessing.

Lexus ignition is so temperamental, any little thing causes misfires. Best idea is to use it as a boat anchor and put an LS1 in the lux, smaller, lighter, more power, lower centre of gravity and more robust electrics.

Haha im with you tim lol nothing like a japenese v8 (jokes) but it not worth the cost to try and swap to a LS motor you now would be better off building a new truck.

Might as well keep goin......... port out the inlet, port out the exhaust, bigger injectors, and sum forged pistons......
