Good work.
Didn't see you in Queenstown. Are you working at the moment? I might come and see you in Hams later in the week if you are around.

I have been waiting for this day since that very first winch challenge!
Image

If it had been a flat deck then we would have been first place on the very first outting (or if you had a less rubbish coey).

Just had a thread re-read. Awesome stuff. And still getting more awesome. Nice work mate. See you Friday hopefully.

P.S sold my truck.

I think the ignition problem is that it's a Lexus. And it will be a little less Lexus when it's "fixed". But I'm just guessing.

Lexus ignition is so temperamental, any little thing causes misfires. Best idea is to use it as a boat anchor and put an LS1 in the lux, smaller, lighter, more power, lower centre of gravity and more robust electrics.

Or change the lexus to coil on plug ignition, run a link extreme, crank the boost up to 10lb and hold on??????

Haha im with you tim lol nothing like a japenese v8    (jokes) but it not worth the cost to try and swap to a LS motor you now would be better off building a new truck.
