bighorn front diff???

bighorn front diff???

any one know how the inner cv joints come out of the front diff housing on a isuzu bighorn ubs69??

Inside the housing is a wire circlip feel around in the grease and you will fel it, pop it out with a screw driver and then the inner c.v will fallout.
When you go to put it back togeather just check that the circlip is still round and reshape as needed.I have also found that sometimes they need to be spread out a little bit before going back in

sweet thanks ill do that, i need to get the diff head out the housing, im doing a auto to manual conversion so i assume the diff ratio will be differnt?? i had a mate change his terrano from auto to manual but left the auto diffs in and at 100km his rev's were at about 3800. chewed the gas

Not sure about that. I have a feeling that the bighorn diff ratio was the same in manual or auto.
If you jump on to www.clubisuzu.com the guys there will be able to give you some great advice on everything bighorn. I used to be a member untill I got the safari
