Terrano Tailgate Mirror?

Hi Guys

Does anyone know if I can remove this from my D21 Terrano, or do I have to replace the entire hinge assembly?

Just undo the nuts and remove. Put nuts back on. Almost forgot they even have one.....never been on any of mine.

Had to undo the screws that connected the hinge to the glass, then removed the rubber gasket to expose the hex nut that held the mirror in place, then slide the mirror out of its mount, and put it all back together

Not that many seem to have it. I reckon it'd be great if you had a caravan or boat to hook up to often. There's also another style one just clamps to the glass, not part of the hinge assembly. Take it you had another hinge without the mirror attachment? Or does it now have a hole where mirror was?

Nah not many have it from what ive seen. Yeah the mount is part of the hinge, so i now have a hole where the mirror was. If i can be bothered ill get another hinge without the mount
