Attempted tauranga theft

Post by sg8380 »

I went up to bed and forgot that I left my keys in my truck on the driveway then I heard se banging from down stairs ( which was my brother opening up the window in the tv room which I didn't know at this stage) then I opened my shutters to see what it was and the light went through out onto the driveway, then when I opened it I heard someone try open the door handle but it was all locked apart from the driver door an then I heard someone run down my driveway and onto the road then about 20 seconds later a car started up which was down the road not by any houses and shot off in a hurry down my road it sounded like a Subaru with a loudish exhaust so then I ran out to see it any thing was missing and locked all the house and my truck up.

Give the cops a call too & let them know someone trieds to take it...youll be thinking waste of time but cant hurt.
Also keep a watch of any cars slowing down outside your place & keep a note of the rego numbers if you can.
If it does then get flogged youll have some info to give them.

Take out the fuses for the ignition etc, and undo some things cause they will be back.

something that is easy to fix if you wanna drive it, but really inconvenient for them to try to start it.
