Yep thats about right, but best yet, they use the same flywheel as a vh41/45 so it would be really easy to fit a v8 in one.

very interesting info, would be great to have just one gearbox for every nissan, way too many different numbers for my wee brain.

ive been trying to find out the code for my gearbox to find out how much oil to put in, the stock oil is 3.6l there is a number r1541 writen on the box but cant find anything on the net that resembles this number. ive got the box all bolted up and it should be ready to roll in a few days.
