reliabilty of 93 auto terrano

hi i have a 93 nissan terrano and have lunched my gear box bearings for the 2nd time i have found a truck the same that is auto for sale are they stronger than a manuel and are they problem pron ? any advice would be grate and if any one knows where the cheapest place to get a bearing set from would be grate too

they are ok if you build them right and use a decent oil cooler. or just fit a d22 manual gearbox
