Hi All
I came across this during a google search..
And was trying to see a vid of it in action...(no luck)
By the looks of it you can use ATV winches to pull down your suspension..
I imagine you pull the front down on hill climbs and the rear on descent???
Seems like a rock crawling thing...
Anyone have any more info??

Re: Suck down / axle winching ??
All the trucks that do events like king of the hammers have these setups.
Its stops the front axle pushing the front of the truck up and unloading the front wheels when going up some of the hills and rock steps. heaps of it on youtube. Maybe some info on pirate?
have seen a trend towards running the winch rope through a hawse on the front axle in the rainforest challenge trucks to. Idea is to lift the front axle up out of the mud/up the bank instead of dragging it through every thing. Makes sense to

seen few clips on youtube of rockcrawlers with that setup, seems to work prety good too. dunno if itd be practical for normal trail conditions though
