1 or 2' lift

hi guys i am new to this sight. i have a surf and am ready to lift her what whould the best way to go 1 or 2'

go 2 inches. you can get 2 inch springs for inthe back for about 200. easy as pie to put them in and then wind up your torsion bars in the front.

yea there isnt alot of point to a 1inch lift. you will hardly notice a 2inch one on the road.

My understanding is yes, the 2" lift by replacing or resetting springs and torsion bar wind will not require certification.
Just have to keep the tire size under the requirement and no need to worry about the cert.

As far as I know.

The only problem I am aware of is that once you have it you will want to go higher :lol:

You will find with a 2" lift and bigger rubber to fill the space, you have a completely different vehicle, soooooo much more capable.

HI, im new to this site as well and was going to ask same thing as 4runnerman.[one problem solved]
I also own a 4runner[V6]
Can any body recomend a good brand,price. were to buy?
How high can you go [with in reason]

My problem is i live 1000km North West of NZ so no 4wd shops down the road :cry:

One good thing i will be in Kiwi in a fortnight, so good chance to buy such
items [Once i get past the better half]

i got my springs from 4wd Queenstown he has lots of hilux parts and land rover good price to. thay have everthing and good guys :lol:

Norfolks the place, hot and sunny and no certifcation. Very few places to get the truck muddy. The island is only 8Km by 4Km.
