Maxxis Trepador
Has anybody run these tyres and whad do you think of them? Look like they would wear well on road and give plenty of grip in the mud. Would like to hear peoples opinions of them.

Re: Maxxis Trepador
do wear well on the road. Not as good as simex etc in mud but wayy better on road.
Beleive it or not we had a set on our work van due to muddy access to sites and when they were taken off they had done approx 85 000ks
. When we put them on we only expected 50 or so, so was a good bonus.
They really need to be aired down in the mud though or they no better than mormal m/ts

I brought a set brand new for my 80 series, nice wide foot print, i was expecting the usual howl on the road but i was suprised at how weell they handle, even on the big ol girl.. i brought 35x15R15's for it, and for the price there was nothing really that i wouldve brought that came close in price.

Cheers guys. Yeah price is a big thing, can get them through work quite cheap and sounds like they wear better than others. Have had firestones and silverstones on the hilux, found the firestones wear out quite quick and unevenly and the silverstones are just for playing. Wanting to upgrade to 35s and just run 1 set for everything

Re: Maxxis Trepador
as i said, i got a pretty good deal on the 35" trepadores.. i paid $320+ each for mine.. but that was apparently a one off deal, so if you can get them around that then you'll be doin well
