Wanted - landcruiser steering shaft

Post by Petemcc »

I am after a steering shaft from a 70 series land cruiser or square shape prado. After the shaft that goes from the steering box up to the steering column. They are longer than the hilux ones and will work for changing to an IFS box on my LN106

PM or text/call

Cheers,
Pete

they are different length steering shafts Pete, the full size 70 series cruisers have the p/s box right up the front with a rear facing pitman arm and the prados have the p/s box mounted further back with a forward facing pitman arm

I'm pretty sure it is, that's what I used. Its got the 12-13mm female on one end and the same in male on the other.

You can cut the two shafts to length but not weld. I'M trying to remember the shaft end of the 130 steering column. If its the same size 12-13mm you use a 70 series steering uj

So the bit I'm using is the upper section rather than the bit that goes down to the box?

a 78 series playdoh shaft should be a shorter version of this one

LH end is a 17mm U/J to go onto steering box shaft and RH end a 14mm spline on end of shaft to connect to U/J on steering collum
