p.s, this is more of a, why not to use a boat rope as a snatching rope....

they dont stretch. and also why not to use bumper as a snatching point.

Boats use all kinds of rope. I use 3 twisted strand rope used for mooring rope for snatching and is more durable than the webbing straps that break at the stitching :roll:
Just so happens they used spectra with a over braid with 1% stretch :shock: which i just so happen to carry also but only for winch extensions.

I once helped an old koozer that had taken his 2wd van and got stuck up near Ahipara.

When I snatched him out I couldn't resist giving him a good had yank to teach him a lesson but must have been a bit too ruthless as his bullbars came right off haha.
