Post by waza4x4toy »

Apart from the woodhill park does anyone have some places to recommend that can be expored without causing anyone greif north auckland area

I have seen guys 4wding behind albany shops on contruction land behind court was thinking "that might result in court"

Are there any good offroading spots back of albany or silverdale way even up towards kaukopakopa?

any suggestions with directions would be great thanks

Your best bet is to join a club. All clubs know the rules and have access to land which is legal and suitable. contacts can be found here http://www.nzfwda.org.nz/clubs/c8/

Yes, there are, but some are 'gated' and only clubs can get the key for access, even though they are public but unformed roads. You have to be carefully not to upset the locals otherwise access is lost permanently to all.

Playing around on land that is under development or planned future development without specific land owners permission is more likely to be classed as tresspassing and upset locals and see you in court, possibly minus your vehicle.
