We will be heading down on Thursday night/Friday 19th. I have booked Lake Daniels for 22nd-23rd.
I need to know numbers for Lake Daniels, I didn't book the hut as everyone coming should have tents etc. Cost is $30 a vehicle.

I think it'll pay to book the hut, we'll split the costs but Al and especially Rude coming from Queensland won't be able to stand the tent that time of the year, even if I have to part out more cash for the hut than others I will, but we do need the hut if possiable. cheers Tim

And depending on the cost, im happy to add to the fund for the hut, my stupiid tent takes too long to set up so I was just going to sleep in the surf, so hut sounds great to me

Yea parking for tow vechicles and trailers etc shouldnt be a problem, ill check with the old lady but we should have a good section available. Place is next to (above, on a terrace) reids store. Might take a compressor as well, last time i went to daniels i aired the 36 simexs down to 12psi and found out the compressor at springs junction garage was broken, was a very long costly drive home.

Rated tow points, strops/ropes, shackles, shovel, a a willingness to learn form those that have learnt before you. You'll get into LAKE daniels ok, shit even the Landrover club goes in there every year, as for the other tough tracks around Reefton, depends on your truck and experience.
