Value of a cooked 1kz

Post by fweddy »

Just having my cooked 1kz ('94 surf) replaced. Any idea of the value of the old engine? It's the complete engine without a full assessment of damage but has lost power with compression down on three cylinders. Thanks
Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

Those are being reused with the replacement engine. I haven't actually seen the removed engine yet as its being done this weekend but already got someone interested in it.

Just a follow up - it sold on TM for $400

Was pretty happy with that.
