kzn130 stub axle brass bushings

has any one had any dealings with these? can any one tell me are these bay boys threaded or do they punch out? i can get them to turn but dont seem to be moving very far :!: cheers luke

yeah they look similar, bushes in mine are notched on top and look like they are threaded into the inner of sub axle :!: truck blew a inner wheel bearing and my ''that'll do anther turn'' attitude just bit my ass and the locking hub and cv axle bushings and top ball joint :? so iv replaced everything on both sides aprt from these bushes just cant see how they come out

Hi,
Should just knock out, grooves will just be a different style of grease grooves.
If they were threaded (which they aren't) one would need to be LH thread and the other RH thread so they didn't screw out when driving.
If you need to replace just punch them out.

thanks tim, yeah i just read up about the groves before. sweet looks like the only work happen tomorrow is on my truck :D :D

Hi,
Had a look at an old one of mine and realised you are talking about the outer one in behind the FWH and it is the same with the radial grooves.
The picture above is an inboard one from a hilux, similar to your inboard one but i think different diameter..
Hilux's don't seem to have the outer bush.
