AWQ these days is way different than 10 years ago when i was first enlisted...

that and the fact were using worn out plastic 30 year old rifles with 1.5 scopes, id say it isnt too bad...

cant wait to have a play with the new 7.62 C9 replacements...

we still havent had our hands on the updated steyrs with the picitini rails and improve scope systems...

then they say the uniform is being phased out into the new NZ multi cam...probably a 10yr plan thatll get left out..


one of my mates went up for the last shoot in waiouru,got marksman,placed 4th overall and kicked 90% of the RF guys who had all the gucci shit, he was shooting with a flogged out 1.5 scoped steyr...good effort

i read that in the news haha, yea they must have been gutted as,
im tf as well so was pretty stoked to see it. i knew a guy on the team as well.

as for the uniform, aparantly its rolling out pretty soon, ive seen some of it. and being in wmr it should be in my unit pretty soon. so im told.
