i think lots of rust is an understatement, usually people say a little rust, more like a little panel

Maybe but it has a winch, probably worth $500, good SAT mud tyres easy $500, transfer case with gears, probably $700 like he says and then you've got the motor and diffs too, so could be a good deal depending on the reserve.

i looked at a pit bike at the same house as that truck very nice truck not a straight panel left on it though but that's what its for

Maybe that was when the new engine went in? BJ74's did not come out with the 4.2 as standard did they?

nah all the 80 series running gear, diffs and engine where fitted around 2005 from memory....
not that a 4x4 that has had a decent swim is potently bad, but it could have issues down the track if not properly addressed.....
