what does astrophysics and micrometeorited have to do with wiperblades? its more the blend of plastics and sillicone in the blade itself that make a lighter, more aerodynamic wiperblade. oh and dont for get the red paint and racing stripes.

Hahahahah, its obviosly one of those short wheelbase mitsibushi ones thay brought out,

and yes they are super cheap auto lights, but who could pass up 30 bucks a pair? chucked some 110w bulbs in them they go mint now.

who needs wiperblades when youve done the washer bottle pump upgrade, its like 2 waterblasters hitting the windscreen.

runs out fast though.......

is it outo or 5 speed nice lights

Its an auto with a safari front axle, safari springs all round (so i can do a safari lift when i get round to it) 4.11 gear ratios till i can find some 4.88 or 4.65's

and those are -19 offset 15x8 inch rims, with 33's.

it only equates to 2inch body lift and 2 inch suspension lift.

it is however all nissan gear, aint no jeep thats for sure, doesnt leak oil from every seam....

As i was going to comment before...

On my '99 Wrangler (which has stellar fuel consumption specs any) when i changed from stock height on 31"ATs to 3" lift on 33" Silverstones...

Dare i say it, but much to my surprise, on a long trip, i think the L/100Ks actually dropped.

I was ready for an increase, but it never happened...

I understand larger tires roll further with every rotation, and that it also take more power to push it a said rotation.

but i was happily surprised with 25L to go 181Ks (GPS measured)= 13.8L/100Ks

All said and done... it does feel heavy at 100Ks going up hills tho...
Ideally i would re-gear... but not when i think im saving fuel...

My Jeep is my Blackbird... !
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_SR-71_Blackbird

The Blackbird on the ground, leaks like a sieve, but in the air, at supersonics speeds, it tightens up, and is a weapon.

My Jeep is just protesting at being in the garage... :)

Jeeps dont leak oil... they mark there territory

unfortunatly as the engine heats up the oil gets thinner, so i think that means it doesnt want to go out for playtime and is probably pissing itself everytime you walk in the garage lol

This is possibly your fourth thread about terrano concerning fuel usage..first one you wanted to know cheaper engine to bolt in then trans for better economy etc now this...tyres been covered thousands of times an you must not of had many other vehicles if your concerned of your fuel mileage in a diesel terrano...back to my very first reply Suzuki made 900cc engined cars that go cheap an also Honda city's are cheaper to run

You need these clips on the bonnet and side of your Terrano mate if you're going to mess with tyre sizes.

Image

Among some NASA level aerodynamic improvements, it will stop the Terrano from getting dusty which is something we all really struggle with. Dust can take a hard toll on a mans emotions.
Also, because they are placed before your wipers you will not need to upgrade them as previously mentioned. In fact, because of the air disruption rain doesn't even hit your windshield while you are driving with these bad boys installed.

You can also use them to hurricane proof your house  and there are currently talks about putting a giant one in Wellington Harbour to counter the wind problem.

Ah yes, vortex generators. Useful to reduce aerodynamic drag. Maybe contemplate lowering your vehicle also. This will lower the frontal area, improving coefficient of drag. However you will need to consider fitting an air dam to the front, and a diffuser to the rear for maximum gain from the reduced frontal area. Even going as far as getting masking tape and taping up all panel gaps and fitting moon centres to rims will all aid in your 99mpg aims.
However I suggest the best impovement will be fitting as small as possible road tyres, and low ratio gearing to diff. (Don't worry about swapping front to match, as gravel road will only require 2wd.) This should alter the odometer enough to good real good perceived gains.
