Hi nissannut,

I have a 1997 Isuzu Mu and have pretty much done all the things you mentioned above.

Also were is your location as I could pop over if you are in Auckland?

You might want to do the body lift before the bar work

yep probably best to sort out all your body lift stuff before you do the barwork so you dont have to get it all redone again to match the bodylift :D

Like the above post's do body lift then bar work, as I found out.

I did a 75mm body lift all is sweet apart from the steering this needs to be made longer were it comes out of the power steering box and in the slip joint. and the mounting of the radiator needs to drop down, everything else I just made it with the brake lines and wiring was not an Issue.

My friend on here madlux did my bar work and I must say he did a great job on it.
Cannot get many after market stuff for the Isuzu Mu or you have to do some very extensive searching on the internet to find something also depends on what part you want.
All aftermarket stuff that is avalible easy is FOR NISSAN, TOYOTA, JEEP etc
I suggest go to the Club Isuzu website lots of info on there for the Mu, Bighorn etc.

yes it seam that way . but it ok i like have thing different from the rest of world :-).
i picked up a 100 mm lift kit.
extended leaf spring shackles.
the fibreglass back cover to turn it in to a two seater Ute
yesterday of trade me for a great price

a old mate who is engineer said he will help me build the bar work up.
so over the next few months it will start to come together and evolve

next thing to finded is a winch and get a wof so it sort of road legal till i finish and get it certed and the next wof
