Woodhill Night Run - Cancelled

Post by Filthy4x4 »

Hi guys,

Have been asked to post this on behalf of Norwest (txt copied from the facebook page).

Another fantastic night run is being put on by Norwest OHV Club and the Woodhill Jeep Park.

This time there will be prizes to the value of $300 up on offer.

Same as other times, park will be open as normal during the day and will let people in at 6pm.

If the park is closed due to no rain we will move it two weeks after this date (still rain dependent).

The event is here: http://www.facebook.com/events/339096102876676/?context=create (I hope it works).

16th March, 6pm
Woodhill Jeep Park

Please don't hesitate to ask further questions if you have any.

See you there

Cheers,

Caleb
Vice President
Norwest OHV Club

Lets hope the next weather report actually brings some rain this week and lets the park open back up. Shows rain for this Sunday Monday and Wednesday.

You make it sound so easy   The forest is a whole different beast come night fall...

Agreed mud would be ideal, there are a few muddy holes left but they are muddy for a reason

Theres still some good mud there, went up on saturday found several places to test out my mud winching learning. Even had to go to wash world to use the blaster to peel off the dried layers. Thanks to kids and back window being open too far had to wash out back of jeep also! Boy wasnt looking to flash either - mum wasnt too happy when he got home, thought i was going to need to water blast him also!

Ok. We have a plan as far as the prizes go. The prize pool has doubled since the publication above
There will be a "number find" type of competition. Basically there will be no "home" advantage so local knowledge won't help much.
A shiny has just as much chance of winning one of the three prizes on offer, as a tough truck does.
There will also be a photo competition with a Xbox up for grabs.

Hoping for some decent rain soon.

Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

No worries mate. More the merrier. Booking not essential but would help us with expected numbers.

News just through. It will have to be postponed until the rain date of 16th March. No immediate rain due in the forecast :( I'll get Caleb to edit title to reflect this.

Dam Dam, the night run is cancelled until further notice. The park still remains closed and won't open again until there has been quite a bit of rain.
Nothing we can do about this, just pray for some of the wet stuff soon.
