I have recently setup auxillery battery in my zuki with a powertech mb3670 isolator to run a winch. Second battery is in the boot and with keeping things cheap, i have attached the winch 12v supply cable to the aux isolator post instead of the aux battery terminal .Will this harm the winch, isolator or electrical system?

So many variables. It would be OK to use as a junction point but it largely depends on the size of cable and the length of run to the rear battery. IMHO 50mm minimum.

System is real simple. Isolator has 3 junction posts , alternator feed junction, main battery and aux battery supply junctions. Main battery is supplying all the usual starter motor , lights etc. With aux battery supplying the winch, kind of. Cable from the aux battery to the isolator is a factory mazda rx2 battery cable i had lying around in the shed, must be 10 or 12mm thick, and about 2.5m long. Not sure what imho 50mm refers to though.
Have hooked up a volt gauge to the alternator ,with out a load, volts do not drop below 12v when the winch is switched on. Hope this info helps ,

Short answer.....no. 50mm is the square area of copper (not including the insulation) in a cross section. Didn't know how to do a squared sign on a computer
Go to any electrical wholesaler and look at the 50mm DC or welding cable.
