Wanted - MR2 rear calipers non turbo for disc conversion

Post by mike »

Having to do a disc conversion asap due to needing cert for wof now. Surf finally needs cert after 7 years of being lifted  Anyone got a set of these lying around that they arnt going to use any time soon that I can replace??

There is a whole set of bits on trademe for $450 but I already have the adapter plates so just need the calipers and discs and since I dont have a job at the moment thats a bit to much coin to be spending when I have to fork out for the cert and rego (which is ticking past, unless I wait 3 months - my bro forgot to tell me my exemption had expired  and I can't believe diesel rego is now $600 wtf  )

Any help muchly appreciated.

cheers

ahmm ... Think you will find he is referring to the annual registration fee, not RUC.

How high is your body lift?
Since it was done before the new rules, you might not need a cert.

50mm, I need to do the rear disc conversion and get it certed for the 33's and rims anyway. Its been a long time coming and HAVING to do it is probably just the kick in the arse I needed

only if you do it before the first 3 months. after that it doesnt matter, goes from the day you go into rego it. before 3 months, goes to the day the last rego expired or exemption expired.
