LJ71 / 78 ratio ????

Hello everyone.. Im wondering if someone here can give me the ratios on their auto's..
Ive get a mitsi auto out of a pajero ( variant of the a340 series) and it'll be most likely better suited for offroad as aposed to the 1uzfe a340e which I have also.
What I need to know is the ratio of the lj71/78 so i can then make up my mind on which to use.. Any help in that area would be great..
