I got a set of Taiwanese guards for my 1989 LN106 (89 -97 model) hilux on trademe for $300 delivered $60 worth of spray cans to make the paint match and the things look ok.

doesn't matter as the truck is getting a repaint anyway.

Most people have steered me clear of Taiwanese guards in saying they don't fit properly...... How did you find them?

The Taiwanese guards are not perfect neither is a spray can paint job but they look okay.

The bolt holes all lined up, the fit is not perfect with the bonnet, a bit of a gap that could probably be fixed.

My Hilux is a road legal ute for the lifestyle block that gets used on four wheel drive runs and has other dents already, and possibly more to come.

I replaced the guards because the flares on the old guards (that are not needed to get a WOF with 31 inch tyres) had caused a bit of rust.

Guards sorted, but now I need drivers side door seals for single cab hilux.

Do the 2 door LN130 surfs have the larger front doors like 2 door Hilux's do?
