Wainuiomata Volunteer Fire Station : Hangi or Umu MAY now require a special permit BEFORE having said Hangi or Umu. We will advise of the proper requirements as soon as we are made aware. It may also mean only a GAS barbecue can be used, no woodfired bbq's. Again, as soon as we know, we will pass on the information

the palmy lot used my club hammer to smack tent pegs in the ground and once finished they were directed to put it back in my cruiser on the passengers floor

but alas, they seem to have failed as its not there

Shiny trip led by Skid through Akatarawa forest for Possum's birthday. Very dusty and lots of ruts and washouts. Started from Green Hut at Rallywoods www.rallywoods.co.nz and stopped for lunch at the Orange Hut. Trip distance was 69.6km and took us 7hr 53 min (including a slight delay at the Cooks Rd gate. 9km/h average speed.

Awesome weekend thanks to skid for running the shiney trip. It was also great to have some of the pamly crew come down for the night. We had a couple of miss haps today. . . . Put the zook on it's side, then on our way home i lost the front wheel. We were lucky we weren't on the wainui hill when it happened. I'm sure there will be pic's up at some stage lol
