This trip is typically somewhat of a mudfest, with a few tight squeezes between trees, and some technical sections (slippery bank climbs, rut straddling, traversing a few deep muddy ruts, etc). It is suitable for all abilities
assuming there are a couple of experienced 4wd'ers drivers in the group (experience should include snatch recoveries, which are guaranteed).
The terrain demands that all attending vehicles have moderate ground clearance, are shod with good-grip tyres, equipped with rated tow hooks, carry recovery strops, and
obey convoy rules. Shineys can expect to earn a few battle scars (minor scratches), and as with any river area trip, a snorkel is cheap insurance.
