3.5 rover v8 into ln130 surf

Hey guys I have a ln130 surf bush truck and it NEEDS more power, I also happen to have a freshly rebuilt 3.5 rover v8 sitting in the shed that needs a home.
Anyone happen to know of anyone who has done this conversion before or a place that sells a REASONABLE priced kit to mate the engine to my factory box?
Any info is much appreciated

Dirtydog, you've caught me on a bad night, Why the f#!k do you persist in giving "advice" to people that is mearly your own opinion on subjects you know little about? Do you know the costs of retrofitting a gearbox into a Surf compared to adaptor kits? You could potentially end up sending someone down the wrong path, costing them a lot of money.... just because your trying to be helpful. Forums are only useful when factual, not when there full of shit, and your opinions seem to be popping up everywhere lately.

Wrong ratios ??!!
Considering 3.5 powered rovers had 3.54 ratio diffs and your telling this guy to run that drivetrain through toyota diff ratios (4.3 - 4.8ish).. Guess the acceleration will be awesome, like fast and the furious ... upto 60kph

i had a 3.5 v8 with surf gearbox w56 with 4.3 diffs when good easy do 140 on road no prob and off road all way in 3rd low so i guess ratio are good lol

just trying to give people different ideas jee..

im not saying go ahead and and do exactly what i say, but i can tell you when i was doing my truck we got stuck on parts, then someone would say something that sounded off but done my research and it led me to an easier solution.

doesnt mean i ended up doing what they said, certainly opened my mind up.

I'm using an LN130 gearbox in my Range Rover project (work in progress) and I have used the BW35 auto trans bell housing and had an adapter plate made to suit. See if you can get your hands on one of these auto bell housings. The fella on Trade Me that makes the adapter plates for the 1UZ conversions (hsv-b0y) did mine. He drew new plans on CAD and machined it up. He even does a hydraulic throw out bearing too.
